Meet Jessie! – Arvada, Colorado Photographer

First of all I want to thank you all for stopping by my blog. I am more than excited to start this new chapter of Jessie Schoepflin Photography and Fine Art. I hope to use the platform to show you exciting new projects I am working on as well as give you a behind the scenes look at the creative process.

I would like to let you know a bit more about me and my background in art and photography. I first took a painting class sophomore year of high school. I had never painted before, but wanted to take a fun elective. Turns out I had a bit of a knack for painting and really enjoyed it! I had an amazing teacher Mr. O and took painting classes throughout the remainder of high school.

My college endeavors took me to the University of Northern Colorado where I decided to play varsity softball for the Bears. I had a hard time narrowing down a major field of study. I started as a Painting major and after a photography class I decided to study photography instead.  I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication and Design with an Emphasis in Photography.

Since finishing my degree, I have been taking sports photos for High Schools and painting on the side. I took a look at what I really want to do as a career path recently and decided to more fully pursue being a professional photographer and painter.

I hope you follow along with me in my journey to define my style and provide my clients with one of a kind photographs and paintings to share.
